Another busy weekend in ASA Racing all across the United States.  There will be racing action on asphalt ovals, dirt ovals and a road course.

Here is a look at what is happening this weekend.

ASA IRA OUTLAW SPRINT CAR SERIES
Mississippi Thunder (Fountain City, WI)
Cedar Lake Speedway (New Richmond, WI)

The fast 410 winged sprints will have two events this weekend.  On Friday, they will visit Mississippi Thunder in Fountain City, WI and Saturday night at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, WI.

BONDURANT CHAMPIONSHIP RACE SERIES SANCTIONED BY ASA
Firebird International Raceway (Chandler, AZ)

Austin Newmark will try to continue his win streak this weekend at Firebird International Raceway.  Last month, Dylan Albiani broke Newmark's streak in the first of three races, but Newmark won the last two to start a new streak.  Ryan Winchester is hoping to end his third place streak by beating Newmark and Albiani.

ASA MEMBER TRACKS

ACE SPEEDWAY (Altamahaw, NC)

Join us this Friday night for May Daze, presented by Crutchfield Auto Parts, at Ace Speedway with the Dick Shirley Chevrolet Late Models, along with Modifieds, Chick-Fil-A Mini Stocks, Kings Auto Salvage Extremes, and Crutchfield Auto Parts Street Stocks.  Pit gates open at 4:30pm and the grandstands open at 5:30. Racing at 8:00pm. Admission this week will be $12 for adults, $8 for students & seniors with ID and free for kids 12 and under.

CORPUS CHRISTI SPEEDWAY (Corpus Christi, TX)

Racing action returns this Saturday night.  The Front Runners, Texas Thunders, Bombers, Super Street and Sport Mods will be in action.  Gates open at 6:00pm with racing at 8:00pm.

DESOTO SUPER SPEEDWAY (Bradenton, FL)

Another great night of stock car racing is scheduled this Saturday night.  The Mini Stocks, Mod Mini's, Bombers, Pure Stocks, Sportsmans, DS Trucks, Rookie Trucks and Trophy Dash Cars will be in action. Racing gets underway at 7:00pm SHARP!  Also, the Suncoast Community Blood Bank will be there from 4:30-8:30pm.

DILLON MOTOR SPEEDWAY (Dillon, SC)

Late Models will be racing this weekend along with the Super Trucks, 4 Cylinders, Street Stocks, Chargers, Carolina Vintage and Mini Cup Modifieds. Green flag falls at 730pm, see you all there.

EAST BAY RACEWAY PARK (Tampa, FL)

This Saturday night is the Race #1 for the Top Gun Sprints. Along with them will be the Florida Mini Sprints, Street Stocks, Outlaw 4s and the Motorstats.com 4 Cylinder Bombers. Also, open practice for all divisions Thursday night, May 19th. Practice is from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm and the Grandstands are FREE admission if you would like to come watch. Gates open at 5:00pm with racing at 6:30pm on Saturday.

Another great night of dirt racing action is scheduled for this Saturday.  The Sprints, Modifieds, Midgets and Hornets will be racing.

HARTFORD MOTOR SPEEDWAY (Hartford, MI)

The SOD Sprint Cars will be visiting Hartford Motor Speedway this Friday night.  Plus the Stock Cars and Pure Stocks will also be in action.  Main gates open at 6:00pm with Racing at 8:00pm.

I-25 SPEEDWAY (Pueblo, CO)

It is Armed Forces Night this Saturday night.  $5 admission to active duty military with I.D. The Late Models, Vintage Mods, Sportsmans, Mini Stocks, and Hornets will be in action.  Racing gets underway at 6:00pm.

ILLIANA MOTOR SPEEDWAY (Schererville, IN)

Five divisions of racing is scheduled for this Saturday night.  The Late Models, Turbo Stox, Legends and Bandoleros will be in action.  Gates open at 4:00pm with racing at 7:00pm.

A salute to Lebanon Schools this Saturday night.  The Late Models, Modifieds, Road Warriors, Sportsman, Chargers, and Outlaw Mini Stocks will be in action. Spectator gates open at 5:00pm with racing at 7:30pm.

Racing action returns on Saturday, May 28.  The Chargers, Pure 4's, Magic 4's, Street Stocks and Renegades will be in action.  Qualifying at 5pm with Racing at 7pm.

MERIDIAN SPEEDWAY (Meridian, ID)

Military families won't have to pay a dime to see the best Pro-4 stock car racers in the Intermountain West on Saturday night at ASA-sanctioned Meridian Speedway. Saturday is Military Appreciation Night at the racetrack as it hosts the Project Filter All-Star Challenge for Pro-4 racers who are always at the historic quarter-mile, such as 2010 series champion Ken Chandler of Boise, Idaho, and 2011 series points leader Joe Barton of Nampa, Idaho, to out-of-towners who run the Northwest Pro-4 Alliance such as reigning champion Kurt Madsen of Herriman, Utah, Eddie Secord of Oak Hills, Calif., and Terry Rennick of Brooks, Ore. Northwest Pro-4 Alliance racers hail from Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Utah, California and British Columbia. Saturday's Project Filter 75 serves as the opener for the Northwest Pro-4 Alliance's fifth season. Vintage sprintcars also will run at the Meridian track for the first time this season. The vintage sprintcars will hold an open practice at the speedway from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. The track will be open to the public for this special chance to see machines from years gone by get back on the pavement. Local divisions on the slate for Saturday include the College of Western Idaho Professional Truck Driving Street Stocks and the Tates Rents Hornets. Tickets are $12 for adult general admission, $9.50 for senior citizens and military personnel with ID, $8 for children ages 7-11 and, as always, children 6 and younger get in free. A family pass for two adults and up to four children costs $36.

NEWPORT MOTOR SPEEDWAY (Newport, TN)

Week #5 of the 2011 season will have a special treat for the fans of Newport Motor Speedway as the Rolling Thunder Modifieds drop by to pay a visit during their 2011 season.  RTM brought their IMCA-Type Modifieds to Newport Last year and the race featured  a lot of exciting side-by-side racing and a little drama to boot. The Super Late Models, Street Stocks, Front Wheel Drive, Mod 4's, Legends, and Mini Cups will also be in action.  Grandstands open at 2:00pm with racing at 7:30pm.

NORWAY SPEEDWAY (Norway, MI)

The 2011 season will open this Saturday with a full racing program.  The Late Models, Street Stocks, 4-Cylinders, Slammer and Enduro cars will be in action.  Plus the Mid-American Stock Car Series will also be competing.  Qualifying at 4:00pm with Racing at 6:00pm.

ORANGE SHOW SPEEDWAY (San Bernardino, CA)

Racing action returns on June 18th.  Along with the racing action, Grammy Award winner Shenkar and rock sensation DOKKEN will also be in concert.

RED RIVER SPEEDWAY (Wichita Falls, TX)

The Southern 4 Cylinder Series will be making a visit this Saturday night.  Plus, the Super Stocks, Thunderstocks, Chargers and Hornets will also be in action. Main gate opens at 6:00pm with Races at 8:00pm.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN RACEWAYS (West Valley City, UT)

It will be a busy night of racing this Saturday night.  The Maverik Modifieds will be running a double main event.  Plus, Sprints, Super Stocks, Mini Cups and Ford Focus Midgets will also be in action. Gates open at 4:00 pm, qualifying begins at 4:45 pm and racing begins at 6:00 pm. Adult admission is $15.00 and youth admission (5-12) is $5.00.

Will be back in action on Saturday, May 28 with Memorial Day Madness.

SKAGIT SPEEDWAY (Burlington, WA)

As race teams run through May, the action heats up at the famed clay oval. Watch the 410 Sprints, Cook Road Shell Sportsman Sprints and the Outlaw Hornets. Also see the NW Wingless Sprint Cars. Ticket gates open at 5:45pm, racing at 7:00pm.

SOUTHERN OREGON SPEEDWAY (Medford, OR)

A full racing program is scheduled for this Saturday night.  The Modifieds, Late Models, Street Stocks, Super 4's, Mini Stocks, Thrill Cars and Pro Stocks will be in action.  Grandstands open at 4:00pm with Racing at 6:00pm.

STATE PARK SPEEDWAY (Wausau, WI)

Track will be open on Thursday night from 4-8pm for practice.  Season opens on Thursday, May 26 with a full racing program.

VIRGINIA MOTOR SPEEDWAY (Jamaica, VA)

Armed Forces Appreciation Night is this Saturday night.  All active, retired, Guard or Reserve personnel and their dependents will be admitted for $5 with proper military I.D. The Late Models, Sportsman, Modifieds, and Limited Stocks will be in action.  Gates open at 5:00pm with hot laps starting at 6:30pm.

WILMOT RACEWAY (Wilmot, WI)

The Kenosha County Fair's Wilmot Raceway offers FAMILY NIGHT this Saturday night May 21st. Adult grandstand admission is just $10, and kids 11 & under are FREE. Wilmot Raceway has some of the best weekly competition in the midwest as the Don's Auto & Machine Modifieds, RA Adams Enterprises Street Stocks, Fec's Place Mini-Sprints, Hawg Heaven Fearless 4's, and the Massive Speed Pro 4's take on Wilmot's third-mile clay oval. Pit Gates open at 2pm this week, with Grandstand gates opening at 5pm. Driver's meeting is set for 5:15.

YAKIMA SPEEDWAY (Yakima, WA)

Will be back in action on Saturday, June 4.  The Super Streets, Pure Stocks, Hornets, Youth Hornets and Bump to Pass will be in action.  Time trials at 5:15pm with racing at 6:00pm.
