ASA Road Course Racing Gets Rolling This Weekend

Two ASA sanctioned road course series will kick off their 2011 season this weekend while State Park Speedway, an ASA Member Track in Wausau, WI, will honor their 2010 champions on Saturday night. Here is a look at what is happening in ASA Racing this weekend.
ASA PROAUTOSPORTS & BONDURANT CHAMPIONSHIP RACE SERIES
Firebird International Raceway (Chandler, AZ)
The Firebird West Track will be busy this Saturday & Sunday as the variety of classes from ASA ProAutoSports and the Bondurant Championship Race Series will be competing on it. The track schedule for both days will practice starting at 7:30 a.m. with Time Trials starting at 10:05 a.m. Racing will follow. A great variety of cars will be on hand both days. STATE PARK SPEEDWAY
The Wimmer family will celebrate their first season in promoting State Park Speedway this Saturday night at the Howard Johnson Hotel & Convention Center in Wausau, WI. 2010 Champions are: Chris Weinkauf (Super Late Models), Wayne Mackesy (Sportsman), Nicholas Erickson (Pure Stocks), and Adam Eckes (Mini Mods).
The American Speed Association started as a single racing series in 1968 and is a fast growing racing sanctioning body today. The ASA Member Track program is comprised of asphalt and dirt short tracks along with road courses around the United States, as well as a variety of regional and national touring series.
