All fans who enter Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida on Saturday, December 3rd, will be entertained by one of the most exciting races in the country – the Allen Turner Hyundai Snowflake 100. One lucky fan will not only enjoy the show, but will leave the track with $1,000 if Chase Elliott wins the Snowflake event for a second year in a row during Snowball Derby weekend.
Allen Turner of Allen Turner Hyundai in Pensacola, has put up $1,000 for one lucky fan to win should Elliott win this year’s 100-lap Pro Late Model event. Elliott won the 2010 edition of the Snowflake race after starting near the rear of the field and is already among the pre-race favorites this season.
“We always try to keep things moving forward and ways to show our appreciation to the racers and the fans,” said Turner. “That race on Saturday night is always a great race. We just always want to thank the fans for their support because the fans are our customers.”
For a chance to win, all a fan has to do is sign up at the Allen Turner Hyundai booth set up directly in front of the main entrance at Five Flags Speedway on Saturday, December 3rd. In addition to the $1,000 grand prize if Elliott does win the race, Turner has arranged for another give-away for a lucky fan that will be announced pre-race.
“At the beginning of the race, we will have a drawing and a give-away for a new scanner and headset already programmed for the Snowflake race," added Turner. "Someone’s going to get a charged scanner to listen to the drivers and crews in that race. Then, that person’s name will go back into the drawing and at the end of the race, if Chase does win, we’ll draw one lucky fan’s name for $1,000.”
The $1,000 give-away is another example of the longstanding partnership between Allen Turner Hyundai, Five Flags Speedway and the Snowball Derby weekend.
“We are honored to have the support of Allen Turner and the entire staff off Allen Turner Hyundai,” said Tim Bryant, General Manager at Five Flags Speedway and Promoter of the Snowball Derby. “Allen Turner has been a supporter not just of the Snowflake race, but our Pro Late Model regular season events and more at the track and we couldn’t be any happier being associated with a great local businessman and race fans like him. We, like the fans who enter the drawing, will be watching Chase Elliott to see if someone’s going to walk out of the track on December 3rd with some extra cash in their pocket.”
